Great place, great people, great value!! I had a coolant leak that I couldn’t find and suspected the worst. Spoke with Josh in the morning, normally expecting to make an appointment for service. Josh took me in right away and called me back in 2 hours with a fix and estimate, which included a series of pictures and a video!! Turned out to be a super easy fix with a replacement part shipped overnight. He also recommended and completed 2 preventative services. Joshua and his crew have an amazing sense of customer service and interaction, and it was very enjoyable to interact with him and his group. I think I found my new go-to car repair shop!! Many many recommendations for Safe Auto Group for any of your needs!!

Stress-free experience. I had to get my truck towed into a shop when the shifter went out and everywhere else I called and in my previous experience, your vehicle is usually not looked at the day it’s brought in so it was very refreshing that even with my vehicle being brought in that day they still took the time to check it out and to start a game plan. I was given an estimate and they stayed right around the estimate price. I was also impressed that everyone was very helpful friendly polite, explain things to me without making me feel like an idiot and truly seem to care mostly spoke with James but both Brandon and Steven were awesome. I think I’m remembering their names correctly like I said I’m mostly spoke with James, but everyone was super nice. Very wonderful shop that I would recommend to family and friends good warranty good communication the fact that they do offer loaners if you need them also makes it a lot less stressful just an overall wonderful experience.

Clean, comfortable, courteous These folk are the true definition of what a professional mechanic shop should be. They took me in as a walk in, quoted a beyond reasonable price, and had me out the door as quickly as they could. The head mechanic even took time to debunk some diagnostic issues another mechanic tried to talk me into doing – you heard me, they talked me out of spending money for repairs I didn’t need. And they were friendly, I mean almost hospitable. Numerous times I was checked on, to a point I began to wonder if I looked distressed. This is how business should run, I hope I don’t need them, but if I do, I’ll gladly support them. This is an edit to an earlier review I drive an older automobile, and like many older auto’s, things break down on them. Most of my truck is factory built and because it’s old and used, it’s lifeline is wearing out. That means repairs. I’ve taken my truck to other places and they keep it long, charge me a lot, and put a bandage on a bullet wound, I genuinely expected the same thing here….boy, was I wrong. I’ve done business with them before, but it was simple, this was not. This was one of those ‘uh-oh’ repairs that have you looking for a new truck just in case. But these guys are different. I dunno, it’s very difficult to describe fully, it’s as if they share that same auto with you. It’s not just a way to make money, it’s getting a part of the family healthy and running right. They could have gouged us, but, they didn’t. They could have bent us over, but they didn’t. Instead they were upfront honest, they helped us with a replacement rental, and they even shuttled us. The way they made me feel, was better than most family members do. If you haven’t started using them, you deserve your car to break down.

Had an accident 7 months ago- and thought I didn’t have any damages. But it soon caught up to me when my battery started draining while the vehicle was turned off. Took it here and dealt mostly with Joshua who was very courteous and communicative throughout the diagnosing process. He explained everything in great detail on what the problem was. It ended up being a much larger problem than I anticipated, but I told him to fix it please. Didn’t want my vehicle back until it was fully repaired. The technicians were great, went to work and found more extensive damage inside the bumper. All in all had to replace the entire bumper and have sensors recalibrated which gave them a little trouble doing so. I like the fact that Joshua did not give up on my vehicle as it was truly a headache to recalibrate all sensors. My vehicle was truly a difficult vehicle, but I appreciate all the guys staying the course and 2 weeks later my vehicle was repaired and I was driving away with no issues. Will definitely return hopefully not too soon..but this is my go to place for repairs from now on

First of all, I love the fact that this is a privately owned business and not owned by a private equity group that overworks & underpays a skeleton crew that is forced to overcharge and/or upsell at every opportunity. I got a detailed breakdown of all needed repairs along with the cost, and I was offered various ways payments could be made. They gave me a time frame of how long my vehicle would be at the shop, which seemed a bit long at first but there was a lot of work to be done and parts needed to be ordered so that’s fair. They finished early which was wonderful! It’s been a few weeks since my vehicle was repaired, and I feel like an excellent job was done as not only are my former issues gone but there are no new sounds or squeaks as have happened previously with other shops. Everyone I spoke with was courteous, knowledgeable, and helpful. I definitely will use Safe Auto Repair for future repairs and will recommend them as they were recommended to me.

This place is something else I brought my old ford in that several shops said they couldn\’t work on, but James said no problem we\’ll look at it right now. They got me in as soon as I got there told me what my fix was in like 15 min and drove me home cuz it was gonna take a while. I have taken my car to this shop in past years for service while on vacation (1200 + miles from home ). I have always had the best price and service from them and especially appreciated Sean ( I think he is the manager now ). The shop recently changed ownership and on my trip to Texas this month, my son\’s car needed major repairs but we had only 1 day to get it done. Sean and the team took the car in and did an excellent job even staying a little after hours to finish the job! They are as good as ever if not even better! The shop continues to have fair and honest pricing under the new ownership.

Was having problems with my air conditioner it wasn\’t cooling. Gave them a call on Friday at 4 knowing they were closing soon, to my surprise was told to bring it in. Not only was it excellent customer service the technician even stayed late to fix it for me. I would highly recommend everyone to go here if you\’re having any problems with your vehicle.

Had a coupon for an oil change. Made reservation. Was in and out within a half hour.

Took my truck in at 11:30am for A/C issues and I had a diagnosis by 5, which was a leaky hose. Sean let me know that they had to order an OEM part for it, but I was still able to pick it up by 11:30-ish the next day. In and out around 24 hours, can’t complain about that! They also did A/C repairs to a co workers Cadillac a month prior and it has been great since, so I’m just as pleased with my repair. Customer service is simply about communication and honestly and I feel Sean provided just that for me. Should anything else happen with my truck while I’m working down here I’ll be taking it back to them for sure. It also went in with a low windshield wiper fluid alert and I noticed after I picked it up that they topped it off. I very much appreciated that small detail, so thank you guys!

Emission System Problem – called and made an appointment to get a system check. Oh, it needed to be fixed and, the staff at Precision Auto completed the work quickly and kept me up to date on the status. – they gave me a ride home and picked me up when my car was ready – my car was clean when I picked it up – my car runs more smoothly than it did before the repair – a piece of the undercarriage came loose and they fixed that for me – their pricing is fair for the quality work Precision Auto is my go to car repair place.

Came in because a bracket came loose on my Chevy impala and it was scraping against my tire. Lauren was very kind and understanding to my situation because I did not want to be at a repair shop all day due to a missing bracket she directed me to Brandon who had my bracket fixed within 30 minutes. I can honestly say that in our many years of auto repair woes, they changed my heart towards the dread of finding a shop trustworthy. We’ve found one! They will now be where we take my 2019 Toyota 4Runner, that went out of warranty this year, too! I know this is a long review, but it all needed to be shared. We truly appreciate every aspect of Safe Auto Repair.

My daughter got a flat tire for the first time, and thanks to the owners of this business, what could have been a stressful experience turned into a moment of kindness and support. With incredible patience and without expecting anything in return, they offered to help her, using their own tools and taking the time to change the flat tire. This act speaks volumes about the kind of people they are genuine, generous, and with hearts full of compassion. I’m deeply thankful. Thank you so much for being in the right place at the right time!

James was extremely helpful with choosing the right tires and had me a quote for all the work I needed done within 30 minutes after speaking with him. He also kept in contact with me on updates of the progress. I’ve been to both the Baytown and Mont Belvieu location and have always received excellent service.

Axle broke on the way to the brand new concert. Got towed to safe auto. They fixed my car in less than a week. They were super honest about the findings and even offer a credit option for you to pay weekly. I recommend them to anyone. Three year warranty on the work done as well. Thank y’all safe auto.

From the moment I walked into Safe Auto Repair, I was greeted by James and Nick, who instantly made me feel comfortable leaving my truck in their hands. They took the time to explain everything they found on my Silverado and, more importantly, treated it like the investment it is — their words, not mine, but it stuck with me. What really set them apart was how much they genuinely looked out for my best interest. Instead of trying to upsell me or push unnecessary repairs, they actually helped me save money while still making sure my truck was well taken care of. That level of honesty and transparency is hard to come by these days. To top it off, I’ll always remember their funny back-and-forth as I walked out — it made the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. Hands down, the best service I’ve ever had at an auto shop. I won’t be going anywhere else.

Clean, comfortable, courteous These folk are the true definition of what a professional mechanic shop should be. They took me in as a walk in, quoted a beyond reasonable price, and had me out the door as quickly as they could. The head mechanic even took time to debunk some diagnostic issues another mechanic tried to talk me into doing – you heard me, they talked me out of spending money for repairs I didn’t need. And they were friendly, I mean almost hospitable. Numerous times I was checked on, to a point I began to wonder if I looked distressed. This is how business should run, I hope I don’t need them, but if I do, I’ll gladly support them.

Visited SAR on a few occasions with my son’s truck. I was impressed with the atmosphere and housekeeping of the lobby and shop…. very clean and organized. SAR always kept me informed of the progress and the findings via email, texts and short videos. Communication was outstanding and also offered alternative solutions that would meet our needs. We’ve experienced nothing but positive visits there and with their staffing. They seem the be focused on our communities needs and of course customer satisfaction. The starter went out in my Toyota Tundra and I had to have my truck towed to a shop. I chose this local shop based on the reviews I read. The service writer, Nick, was extremely professional and friendly. He got my truck into a bay for diagnostics within 10 minutes of my arrival. It was confirmed that my starter was bad and I received a quick estimate. The price was a little higher than expected but it came with a brand new starter (not remanufactured) and a 3 year/36k mile warranty. They gave me a free shuttle home and they managed to get my starter changed out quickly. I was able to pick up my truck right before closing on the same day (also picked me up at home to give me a ride back to the shop). Excellent service overall and I recommend this shop for auto repair.

This place provided excellent service! I had my 2018 Jeep towed and they were fast, friendly and had me back on the road in no time! Oh and they provided me a free loaner so I was able to get to work while they worked on my Jeep. I would highly recommend, also everyone was very helpful and kind. Thank you!

I brought my 2014 Lexus RX 350 with no start/no crank at Community Toyota. Their diagnosis is terrible it wasn’t diagnosed correctly. They replaced the starter and I changed the battery which is working on my other vehicle. Still it won’t start. I asked them to scan it again but I have to pay for another scan? So I brought the Lexus to Safe Auto Repair and after 2 hours they were able to find the cause and able to fix it. Kudos to their mechanics, they know what they’re doing.

Was a wonderful experience everything was explained and approved before they went forward and they worked well with my warranty co.will be using them as my normal mechanic on my Corvette. They got black beauty running great again.

This is my second time with WDR and I’d have to say that this place is definitely a few steps ahead of the rest. From the front desk to the waiting room, the shop to the service, they are top notch all the way around. The front staff was super friendly and helpful, the waiting room was clean, comfortable and fully stocked, the shop staff was knowledgeable and very thorough. The shop crew was more than willing to explain every aspect of the job in detail and in a way that I understood it. They kept me updated throughout the process and made sure that I felt like the priority. The owner, Justin, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He definitely takes pride in his business and does his best to ensure that he and his staff provide trustworthy and professional service while making you feel at home in the process. If you compare what you get from WDR to what you get from the other guys, WDR is not only more bang for your buck but, they also provide a much higher quality of service. WDR will definitely be my “go to” from here on out.

The staff were great, they were professional, friendly, and patient. Whatever I didn’t understand, they took the time to show me or explain. My engine had an extensive amount of wiring damage from what I believe were squirrels. They had been nesting in there. In the meantime, the tech also discovered that my drive belt needed to be replaced, because the pulley was damaged. They did a great job, my truck is running well. Came here to get my door handle replaced and was pleasantly surprised on how well the customer service was . I’ve called them about 7 times in the last 2 weeks to confirm a few things and every single time they not only have answered the phone but no matter who I’ve spoken to they’ve had a great attitude and were always super nice . I had to bring my toddler with me while they fixed my door handle and their waiting room was cozy and clean which was nice . Every employee who I came in contact with while I was there greeted me with a smile and a “good morning “ the price was reasonable and all together I had a great experience with them and will definitely come back when I need to!
